Emma Louise Crimmins

Plumbing Specialist

Emma is a 4th year plumbing apprentice, working in a career that's still extremely male-dominated. She hopes to show women the potential the building sector holds and to inspire others to follow. Emma could never imagine herself at a desk every day, so she loves that no two days in her role are the same. She enjoys meeting new people and especially loves working on renewable energy projects. Last year, she received 11 distinctions in her college results.

Owen Joyce

Mobility and Accessibility

Owen is Managing Director and Occupational Therapist at Original Therapies. He oversees the delivery of private Occupational Therapy services across adult, paediatric and older-person settings. His role includes completing housing assessments, workplace needs assessments, nursing home and community-based assessments and liaising with clients, families, healthcare professionals, local authorities and other organisations. He is committed to ensuring the overall quality of Occupational Therapy services delivered through Original Therapies.

The Irish Times described Tony Murphy as having "an encyclopaedic knowledge of bathrooms" with an extensive expertise in bathroom installation systems, shower toilets and concealed cisterns. At this event, he'll share practical advice, answer questions, and help homeowners make informed decisions when planning bathroom renovations or new installations. His approachable style and technical knowledge make him a trusted expert in creating modern, functional, future-ready bathrooms.

Ranae von Meding

speaker, writer, podcaster and award winning activist

Ranae is a Dublin based speaker, writer, podcaster and award winning activist. From beingdenied legal recognition as a mother to becoming one of the loudest voices for family equality, Ranae has helped reshape the national conversation on what it means to be a parent in modernIreland. Now the co-founder and CEO of Equality for Children, Ranae continues to advocate forequal rights for all children born to LGBTQ+ parents in Ireland. She has written for manynational publications and is a regular speaker at corporate and community events. Ranae livesin Dublin with her wife Audrey, and their three young children.

Ger Cooney

Interior Architect & Colour Specialist

Ger Cooney is an Interior Architect, Designer and Colour Specialist with over 10 years’ experience working across residential and commercial interiors in Ireland and the UK. His approach combines interior architecture, spatial planning and colour and textures to create considered, cohesive and practical spaces. Ger has worked extensively in colour consultancy and colour development, collaborating with leading Irish paint brands and developing colour collections for residential and commercial spaces. He specialises in helping clients understand how colour, light, materials and finishes work together within a space. Alongside his design practice, Ger lectures and delivers workshops in interior design, colour and 3D Design. His work focuses on making design decisions feel both creative and achievable, whether selecting a single statement colour or developing a complete interior scheme. For this event at Niko Bathrooms, Ger will bring his expertise in colour, materials and spatial design to explore how bathroom finishes, fixtures and surrounding interiors can be brought together to create beautiful, balanced and individual spaces.
